It all started out with a warm welcome into the new training room, called the ‘Hero’s Square’, built specially for the ‘Boot Camp’ applicants. There were 11 unknown faces at first but we all gelled so well in just a couple of hours. This was followed by an induction program and a ‘lot of form filling’! Then the whole office gathered together for the inauguration of the new floor which was a very solemn occasion. As the clock ticked away and we finally finished up with our forms, it was time for lunch. And guess what we had: Domino’s pizza with Seby, the CEO of Nabler. Not a lot of companies do that, so it was an awesome experience.
Post lunch we had introductory talks from various department heads. This went on pretty smooth. Later we introduced ourselves with our fellow Nablerites. Everyone had something different and unique to offer; like Prashant’s event management acts, Ravi’s fitness tips and Emil and Carine’s arts and crafts.
The next day started off with a session on ‘Digital Marketing Fundamentals’ delivered by Cammillius. It was easily understandable since it was shown with practical examples. Reality checks at the end of each day confirmed that the concepts were firmly planted in our heads. ‘Science of measurement” with Anish showed the functioning of log files, page tagging etc. Though it was fairly new to us, Anish helped us by giving 3 important rules: Respect, Google, You. Meaning only you can teach yourself, using Google as a tool and respect everything and everyone!
Our CEO, Seby, later walked us through the world of digital analytics with an interesting presentation. The entire array of analytics including the history was presented to us in a nutshell making it easy to connect with.
